Here’s the idea…

Welcome to your customizable personal retreat in the outdoor mecca of Central Oregon.

Where you’ll stay solo at a dialed campsite that will serve as your personal base camp for rest, reflection and exploration - whether that be hiking, trail running, mtn biking, climbing, paddling, soaking, or fishing.

It’s entirely up to you, and you set the pace.

All-inclusive

I’ll take care of all the details so that all you have to do is say ‘YES!’ and show up with well-packed backpack (packing list provided).

I’ll have everything prepped and ready based on the weather/conditions and our pre-trip conversations about your intentions and interests. Together, we’ll create an itinerary that gets you pumped.

Intentional & Impactful

We’ll make it fun, intentional, restful and tasty. You’ll get quiet times of reflection, moments of awe and wonder, and some adrenaline pumping good times. You’ll walk away refreshed, centered, clear headed and fully recharged.

You don’t need external advice, you want internal clarity.

  • Leaders & High Achievers

  • Serial Entrepreneurs

  • New Entrepreneurs (my fav)

  • Creatives (my other fav)

  • Workaholics (me too)

  • Age: 30’s - 50’s (I’m 42)

Who it’s for:

Here for those who crave the outdoors. This experience is for leaders, high achievers, creatives, entrepreneurs, workaholics, doers, movers and shakers.

It’s for men who are searching for a change of pace and a shift in perspective.

It’s for men looking for an experience that will challenge and inspire, but also bring a deep sense of renewal.

It’s for men who know that something’s gotta change for them to become a better version of themselves—one with more purpose, more depth, and more connection—and want to jumpstart that process.

Here’s how this works…

Crash in comfort at your ideal camp location.

You’ll have your own staged campsite equipped with an off-road camper (packed to the gills with outdoor gear) that will be posted up on a river, lake, trailhead, or sno-park for a couple of glorious days of wild livin’ in the great outdoors. What could be better?!

A camping scene in a wooded forest with a camper trailer, a fire pit with burning fire, a hammock, a table with camping gear, and a person standing nearby at twilight.
Person wearing a helmet and checkered shirt standing next to a bicycle at sunset with mountains in the background.
A person in a hooded jacket, shorts, and sunglasses holding a green paddleboard with a paddle, standing on a rocky shoreline by a calm lake with mountains in the background.
Person roasting marshmallows over a campfire next to a camper trailer and foldable chairs during dusk.

STAGED CAMPSITE EQIPPED WITH:

Dometic e-cooler (w/ food and cold drinks inside), stove, drinking water, rooftop tent, sleeping bag & pillow, all the outdoor toys and gear (SUP, e-bike or mtn bike, etc), heater, hammock, table, camp chair, and either firewood or propane fire (depending on fire regs).

EXPLORE THE AREA:

You’ll be able to do a variety of activities that are walkable/bikeable right from camp: fish, hike, climb, trail run, peddle, paddle, soak, swim, and explore your surroundings at your own pace. Together we’ll find the perfect camp site that is close to whatever vibe you’re going for. And if you want, we’ll plan a couple semi-guided excursions to show you the hidden gems of the area.

Here’s the plan:

Nature goes with the flow - so do we.

Although I do my very best to adhere to the general schedule, the itinerary is subject to change for numerous reasons beyond my control, including weather and your travel schedule.

No matter what, I’ll do my damnedest to get you out there, equipped and ready to make an incredible outdoor memory as you explore your life from the inside out.

  • Arrive into Bend and we’ll grab some local grub and talk about your intentions for this retreat. Then we’ll head over to Out There HQ (my shop) and get you geared up and out into the wild.

In the evening you’ll find yourself sitting around a campfire eating a warm welcome dinner at an off-grid campsite that will serve as your basecamp for the next several days. Your home away from home. Everything you need, and nothin’ you don’t - including cell signal. It’s time to unplug.

    • Welcome lunch at a local brewery

    • We’ll get you geared up for your journey

    • We’ll establish base camp - your very own campsite out in wild

    • Dinner and drinks (tacos, salad, chips & salsa, cerveza)

    • Warming fire under the stars and star gazing

    • You’ll do a powerful exercise focused around your story thus far

    • Rest up for your first full day of glorious solitude

  • After a restful night in the woods, you’ll wake to the sounds of nature before enjoying a hot breakfast and good coffee or tea. Then it’s on to a morning adventure to get your mind and body back in tune with each other.

A delicious European inspired meal for lunch and then enjoy some down time (soak, forest nap, journal, wander). Before dinner there’s time for a sunset outing if you choose. Dinner by the fire, journal prompts and some s’mores is what your second night alone in the woods will look like.

    • Camp breakfast and coffee

    • Outdoor excursion

    • Charcuterie styled lunch in the wild with a cold drink and incredible view

    • Afternoon leisure time (soak, nap, journal, wander) or get wild outside (ride, paddle, peddle or plunge)

    • Fireside dinner, journal prompts, and time to unwind and soak it all in

  • Start the morning at sunrise with coffee and breakfast before getting out into nature for your morning activity or excursion - ride, paddle, peddle or plunge. There will also be a series of challenges for you to complete that will help you gain clarity and insight.

You'll eat lunch on the go out in nature, and then have some downtime for journaling, reading, side quests, or quiet rest.

As afternoon settles in, I’ll come snag you and the camper and relocate you to Out There HQ where we’ll enjoy a hearty dinner and a warming fire while we talk about your experience and discuss your next move forward.

    • Slow morning

    • Nature based activity or excursion

    • Lunch and down time

Start or end at Out There HQ:

We typically start or end at ‘Out There Headquarters’ - my outfitter & supply shop just outside of town on my private property. It’s where we gear up for excursions and unwind after a long day of getting after it. This space also serves as the backup plan incase the weather is complete shit. So fret not, either way you’ll be taken care of.

That was the most helpful retreat! Space to breath. Room to ponder. Opportunities to deep dive in meaningful conversations about work & life.
