Stoked you’re here! My name is Gary, your outdoor guide and adventure coach. Getting outside in meaningful and adventurous ways is what I do best and sharing those experiences with others is what I love most. 

Twenty years of traveling and adventuring (for both work & play) have taught me that transformation happens when I step out of comfort and into uncertainty—whether it’s in my career, family life, or personal projects. 

For me, nature offers a break from the chaos and provides space to reconnect with myself, think deeply about the story I want to live, and figure out the next right move. I created Out There to share those kinds of experiences and create those kinds of spaces for men like you.

Join me for a seasonal outing. Everything from snow to dirt, and all seasons and interests in-between. We can even explore Baja or Panama together, or learn more about bushcrafting, fishing or a variety of outdoor adventure sports.

An adventure day of days that is approachable and economical. Explore Central Oregon on a day trip custom-tailored to your interests. We’ll make it meaningful, helpful, impactful, and tons of fun.

Wild Campout

4 days, a mysterious itinerary, hosted by Chad & Gary

One of a kind, small group adventures into the unknown. Every single wild campout is different—the destination is something we’ll all agree on, but the adventures, outings, and accommodations are purposefully a mystery to your group.

Adventure Coaching

One-on-one 3 month intensive

1-on-1 | 3 months | Price: $$$

Adventure Coaching is a one-on-one 3 month program (meeting weekly) that includes a capstone outdoor experience shared together here in the Pacific Northwest. This is the most impactful experience offered.
