Day Trip

A sunrise-to-sunset adventure.

An adventure day of days.

Explore Central Oregon on a day trip custom-tailored to your interests. These outings can be one-on-one or you can get a crew of guys together. It will be my pleasure to show you around this outdoor playground I call home.

No matter what you’re looking for, I got you covered. We have world-class mountain biking, climbing, rafting, fishing, hot springs, waterfalls, hiking trails, snow sports, and plenty more. We’ll connect (Zoom/phone) several times before your trip to plan a day that will be super fun and helpful to your personal growth.

What we’ll do.

These outings are meant to be engaging, fun, and personalized. Each day is custom-designed according to your interests or preferred outdoor activity.

My goal is to create an outdoor experience that excites the soul, energizes the body and helps bring focus and clarity to the mind. One where we get the blood pumping and have some fun, while also exploring the latest in mind/body bio-hacks (think cold plunges, breath holds, breathwork, etc).

I offer 3 general themes for Day Trips:

  • Pick the outdoor activity that interests you most for an action-packed day that will get the blood pumping and the stoke level high. It can be introductory (I enjoy teaching folks new outdoor sports) or we can get extreme with your favorite developed sport/skill.

Summiting a peak, rock climbing, mountain biking, paddling (kayak, SUP, raft), backcountry ski/snowboard, etc. are all on the table (although you may have to rent specialized gear out of pocket). We’ll eat on the run and chase some fun in the sun.

  • If you prefer a slightly slower pace (but still want to get after it a little) these trips are focused on being outside and actively exploring nature. This could include things like an e-bike ride in the mountains, a waterfall hike, a tour of some local natural wonders (lava caves, mountain peaks, waterways, canyons, etc.), nature photography, finding some beautiful views, or even doing a tasting tour of some local grub & grog. We will still do some unique outdoor activities, but it will be less physical and at a calmer pace than the action sport option above.

  • This is the most chill option. Primarily focused on finding calm and clarity in nature in order to boost your mental health and wellness. It might include things like soaking in hot springs, yoga, and forest walks with beautiful views. We’ll likely explore several different practices to see what helps you most. Or if you already have practices you use, we can focus on using those throughout our day to optimize their benefits.

Whatever we do will be designed to increase your mental and physical wellness. We’ll have some fun and eat some great food, but the trip will be slow and steady and feel more like a quiet retreat to help you find more peace, quiet, and clarity in life.

No matter which theme you choose…

It will be my absolute honor to help guide you on a day that won’t only be helpful, tasty and fun, but it will also clear out the clutter and reigniting that spark within. You’ll see who you are and where you’re going next with much more confidence and clarity. And we’ll let nature simply do what it does best, reconnect us to something deeper within.

We go outside to explore inside.

We’ll talk about your story, who you are and where you’re going next. We’ll get clear on your commitments and help build momentum to tackle the obstacles ahead. We’ll challenge the body and find stillness for the mind. Most of all, you’ll get the encouragement and support needed to keep going.

Ideas & Options:

I see it happen all the time on these Out There adventures...

It’s that spark of inspiration, or a jolt back to life. Maybe it’s a new perspective, or that much needed shift. It’s the recharge and remedy needed for these modern times.

So come prepared for something special to take place.

What to expect:

All inclusive. (camping included)

I’ll take care of everything (food & drinks, local transport, basic recreation gear, and even accommodations if needed) so all you have to do is say ‘YES’ and show up in Oregon the day before our adventure day begins.

And to make things logistically simpler and more economical, I am happy to host you here on my property (camping-style) at no additional cost. That way you don’t have to worry about accommodations or sleeping equipment either. Just show up and let’s go!

Sunrise to sunset.

We’ll start early, coffee and breakfast burritos in hand. We’ll chase views, eat great food and have a few unique outdoor adventures in some wild and beautiful places. We’ll make the most of our long day together. In the summer the sun won’t set until 10pm+. So it ends up being a loooong full day. Which is the best!

We’ll wind down the day reflecting on what we experienced while catching the last light of the day - hopefully around a roaring campfire with your favorite beverage in hand.

The views just outside of town.

“That was the most epic, beautiful day I’ve experienced in 10 years. Space to breath. Room to ponder. Opportunities to deep dive in meaningful conversations. I’ll be forever grateful for this time.”
